Veerasaiva College
About
The first college of the district. At its silver jubilee in 1942 the Sangha resolved to bring higher education to Ballari; with three lakh rupees raised from the community and recognition from Madras University, the college opened in 1945. By 1956 it stood on 101 acres granted by the Government.
